Malin Akerman has been confirmed as a guest at the 2012 Spike TV Guys Choice Awards!
The sixth annual event, which features Hollywood’s hottest leading ladies, premier action stars, standout comedians and most unstoppable jocks tapes Saturday, June 2 at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA, and premieres Saturday, June 9 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on Spike TV.
Malin Akerman is featured on the cover and inside the June 2012 issue of “Shape” magazine!
Malin looks fit and fabulous in a VIX Swimwear bikini, Nashelle hoops and Kara Ackerman Designs bangles for the Nino Munoz shot front page while opening up about topics such as her choice in foods and body parts that could use a little help.
Highlights from Miss Akerman’s interview are as follows.
On her tendencies when it comes to food:
“Oh, believe me, I have my splurges. I can’t live without chocolate. Though I barely consider it an indulgence because it’s good for you. I also love a thick steak and french fries. I try not to eat them more than once a week, but if they somehow land on the table in front of me, I won’t hold back. You’ve got to allow yourself the things you enjoy or you’ll just be miserable.”On whether or not she drinks alcohol:
“I love to drink wine, but when I avoid it, I have so much more energy – and that’s what I need when I’m focusing on my body.”On how she’s feeling these days:
“Great. I have a lot more energy and focus – not to mention self-confidence. Now when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, that’s what I see reflecting back.”On the body parts on her fix-it list:
“I’m not going to lie: I was born with good genes [her mother was also a model]. But when I overindulge, I can get a paunch in my belly. And I’ve always wished I had more beef in my booty.”

Ever wonder what it would be like to have to live below the poverty line?
The folks over at Live Below the Line did — and, it got them thinking: why not get tons of people to gain a sense of awareness about poverty, while, at the same time, raising money for charity?
And so, the “Live Below the Line Challenge” was born.
The challenge gets folks to eat for a limited amount of money ($1.50) every day for five days. And, this year, were so glad to hear that several celebrities — think Hugh Jackman, Kevin Connolly, Malin Akerman, Nick Lachey, Josh Groban and Bette Midler — are all getting involved.
