Malin is set to make an appearance at the LA Shorts Fest ‘09 in Los Angeles, CA. The festival runs from July 23 – 31 and contains diverse genres and subject matter contained in over 280 short films, music videos and commercials by established and emerging talent from around the globe.

Mike and Trent are back! Universal has debuted the first trailer for Couples Retreat on Apple today. Just looking at the cast, I’d say this is the ensemble comedy of the year. Here are the four couples: Kristen Bell and Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau and Kristin Davis, Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman, and Faizon Love and Kali Hawk. This seems like one hell of a wild, quirky, fun comedy, what more can I say? It also looks a lot like Forgetting Sarah Marshall but with four couples instead of just one. Upping the ante, so to say. I’m certainly looking forward to this. And don’t forget, A.R. Rahman is scoring Couples Retreat as well. Enjoy!
